The launch meeting for the brand name of “Research@Özyeğin”, the roof of Özyeğin University’s collective research efforts, was held on 15 June 2010, Tuesday with the participation of the world-renowned journalist, author and The New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman. Thomas Friedman, the winner of 3 Pulitzer prizes, delivered a speech entitled “Hot, Flat and Crowded: Why We Need A Green Revolution?”.
