10000 Women”, a global initiative launched in 2008 by Goldman Sachs, the international investment bank, takes place in Turkey with the cooperation of Özyeğin University.
“10000 Women” initiative aims to expand the entrepreneurial talent and managerial pool of women in developing and emerging economies and to contribute to sustainable and more shared economic growth by reducing inequality. Having been implemented in a total of 16 countries since 2008, including 8 in Africa, 5 in the Middle-Far East and 3 in the Americas, the initiative aims to reach 10000 women around the world over the next 5 years with a budget of $100 million.
Within the scope of this long term educational project, Özyeğin University aims to help Turkish woman entrepreneurs to acquire new qualifications and contribute to their success in business world.
