Admission and Admission Requirements
A four-year college or university baccalaureate degree diploma is required in order to apply for the MBA Program. Candidate students who do not have a four-year college or university baccalaureate degree diploma throughout the application process, are required to obtain and deliver the diploma by the end of their first semesters.
Candidate students who have hold a four-year college or university baccalaureate degree diploma abroad, need to have an approved recognition by the Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK) in terms of the school, the education and the degree.
If the nationality is of a country other than the Republic of Turkey or the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the candidate student is considered as an international candidate student. An International candidate student also needs to obtain the diploma equivalence document throughout the application process.

Application Documents
All documents need to be prepared in Turkish or in English. Documents prepared in another language than Turkish and English, need to be submitted with a translation.

It is purely the candidate students’ responsibility to complete the online application form and the application documents thoroughly.

  • Online Application Form:
    The application form filled with full and correct information digitally.
  • Diploma:
    The original diploma of the candidate students. If the student did not graduate yet, the official document declaring the prospective graduation date. For the four-year college or university baccalaureate degree or the higher education diploma diplomas obtained from abroad, an approved recognition by the Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK) in terms of the school, the education and the degree is required.
    P.S.:
    Candidate students whose applications are evaluated positively and those who have the four-year college or university baccalaureate degree or the higher education diplomas obtained from abroad, need to apply online through the e-devlet system in order to obtain and deliver an approved recognition by the Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK) in terms of the school, the education and the degree.
    Candidate students will be registered to the program as “conditional” students until the approved recognition is delivered. Students, whose recognition is approved by YÖK, will be registered as “student”.
    An online application portal is created for those non – Turkish candidate students who do not have an e-devlet password.
    Those candidate students who have a war, occupation or annexation in their countries will be able to deliver by hand to YÖK.
  • Transcript of Grades:
    An official paper transcript (indicating courses, grades, degrees received, rank or distinction, if applicable) from each college or university attended is required. (To be considered official, the transcript must bear the official seal and signature of the institution. (Notarized) copies of academic records are not acceptable.)
    If an explanation of the university’s grading system is not shown on the transcript, a separate official statement from the university that provides that information must be submitted.
  • English Proficiency Test:
    The candidate student needs to provide either of the following exam results:

    *If the English level of the candidate student is evaluated as adequate and if this candidate student graduated from a university where the language of the undergraduate program is English minimum two years ago, s/he will be exempt from the English proficiency test. 
    **As per YÖK Regulations, the TOEFL exam is only valid if taken at a state university.
    *** The test of Readiness for Academic English (TRACE) will test the ability to read, listen to, and write academic English.
  • CV / Resume:
    A resume detailing the education (with dates of attendance and degrees earned) and work experience (with titles, dates, and whether part-time or full-time) to date, and computer skills is required.
  • Letter of Recommendation:
    Two letters of recommendation are required. Candidate students need to submit full information about the referees throughout the application process. Once the online application form is submitted, a link will be sent to the referees through the system.
    Referees with no internet access may complete the paper form of the letter of recommendation and either mail it to OzU GSB Office directly or return it to the candidate student in a sealed envelope, signed across the seal, to be submitted with the other application materials, if any.

  • Essay:
    Required to be composed including personal and professional goals. To be submitted in English.
  • Supplemental Information:
    Any other additional document supporting the candidate student’s academic and professional background.

Application, Evaluation and Acceptance Process
The candidate student may be asked to verify the information and the documents s/he provided or the University may prefer to verify this information.
Any discrepancy on the information provided and the document submitted, may result in the cancellation of acceptance, or in the cancellation of registration.
Submitted application materials become the property of OzU GSB and will not be returned to applicants.
The applications are evaluated by the Graduate School Executive Board. Along with the suggestion of the members of the Graduate School Executive Board, the decision will be finalized with the written decision of the Graduate School Executive Board.
The candidate student may be invited to an in-person or by-phone interview after the online application has been submitted and evaluated. If the invited candidate student does not participate the interview, the application will not be considered.
The content, condition and quota of the scholarship is determined by the Board of Trustees for every academic year. The scholarship assignment is determined with the decision of the Graduate School Executive Board and the approval of the Rector.
The international student who is accepted to the program needs to enter Turkey with a valid student visa.
The international student who is accepted to the program needs to apply to the Embassy or the Consulate Office of the Republic of Turkey, along with the letter of acceptance to the program and obtain the student visa.
