OzU Team Becomes GLO-BUS Best Strategy Invitational Grand Champion  

OzU student team “Jim Dandy”, consisting of Faculty of Business students Selim Çamlı, Yiğit Koçak, Cem Sarfati and Mert Ata Yıldırım, became the worldwide Grand Champion of the GLO-BUS Best-Strategy Invitational competition. 
 
The Best-Strategy Invitational is a global competition among high-performing GLO-BUS companies from around the world. It was held over a two-week period in August among 51 of the top-scoring teams in the world.

Under their original team name “ELMA”, our four students’ team became the winner of the Spring 2016 Business Integration course (SEC402), which uses the GLO-BUS simulation game. They also achieved a global number 1 position among 1.189 teams from 59 colleges worldwide (tied with 35 other number 1 teams). 
 
All proceeds from the registration fee paid by each participant are donated to The United Nations Children's Fund – UNICEF.
