OzU MUN Club Receives 6 Awards from the Y-MUN Conference

OzU MUN-Club returned with six awards from the Y-MUN Conference, which took place at Yeditepe University from December 16 to December 18.

The club attended the conference with a delegation team of 21 members, and represented Özyeğin University in 10 different committees. Our award-winning students are as follows:

Furthermore, Ms. Tuğçe Kaplaner, an Executive Board Member at OzU MUN Club, was admitted to the “Human Rights Watch” committee as a rapporteur during the Y-MUN Conference. Also, Ms. Defne Şahin, the club president, was invited to the WTO-DSB (World Trade Organization Dispute Settlement Body Panel) committee as the chief justice during the conference. 

In addition, Mr. Berkan Özer, Executive Board Member at the MUN Club, was invited as the moderator of the  “United Nations Women Committee” to the “Model United Nations Conference” organized by Doğa Schools at Akra Barut Hotel, Antalya, from December 16 to December 18, and represented our university during the conference held with 600 participants.
