Second reward from the Ritz-Carlton İstanbul: Roni Ohanyan, our Hotel Management student, won “5 Sta

Our junior student at the Hotel Management Department, Roni Ohanyan, won the “5 Star Intern Reward” for his performance during his internship at the Ritz-Carlton İstanbul. Thus, this reward has been presented to Özyeğin University Hotel Management Students in two respective years.
 
The incentive system is implemented worldwide in all The Ritz-Carlton Hotels. Employees and interns are nominated by the heads of departments and winners are determined by votes.
Mr. Roni Ohanyan earned the appreciation of his supervisors with his distinctive performance and skills at the Front Office Department. Our student received the award from Mr. Can Göktaş, the General Manager of the hotel. 
 
School of Applied Sciences students at Özyeğin University are required to complete 75 days of internship experience at the end of their sophomore and junior years. The internships introduce students to the hospitality sector and give them the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice in their professional careers.
