Assistant Prof. Özgür Özdemir Honored with Article of the Year Award

Asst. Prof. Özgür Özdemir, from the School of Applied Sciences, has received the prestigious “The W. Bradford Wiley Memorial Best Research Paper of the Year Award” from the International CHRIE (Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education). This award is given to an exemplary research publication which was chosen among other publications that are relevant to the field of hospitality and tourism management and that were published in reputable hospitality and tourism journals.
 
This award has been delivered in Dallas, Texas on 22 July 2016 during the “2016 Annual I-CHRIE Summer Conference.”
 
I-CHRIE is a non-profit professional association that aims to continually increase the quality of global hospitality and tourism education, quality of scholarly research in these areas, and industry-university partnership (www.chrie.org).
