We are Among the Most Successful Universities in Distance Education
The University Assessments and Research Laboratory (UniAr), an independent research institution focused on research about universities and higher education in Turkey, has recently carried out a survey on universities which shifted to distance education due to the COVID-19 pandemic to examine how effectively they manage their distance education practices.
The survey was conducted by Prof. Dr. Engin Karadağ and Prof. Dr. Cemil Yücel, co-founders and directors of the University Assessments and Research Laboratory, on 17,939 students from 163 universities (111 state and 52 foundation). In the survey, Özyeğin University was ranked among the most successful foundation universities in managing the distance education process.
In addition to its recent survey, UniAr also annually conducts Turkey’s University Satisfaction Survey (TÜMA) to examine university students’ satisfaction level with their universities and rank universities based on student satisfaction. The UniAr’s new survey “Distance Education at Universities during the Novel Coronavirus Pandemic: An Analysis of Undergraduate Students’ Perceptions” is available in the following link.
