Özyeğin University Ranks Among The A+ Universities In Student Satisfaction

According to the results of the “Turkey’s University Satisfaction Survey” (TÜMA) 2020, Özyeğin University was listed “A+” among 192 universities in Turkey across all domains of student satisfaction. Ozu was also named among the top 5 A+ universities in each dimension of student satisfaction. Maintaining its first place in “Overall Satisfaction” for three years in a row in 2017, 2018, and 2019, respectively, Özyeğin University was placed second top performing university in Overall Satisfaction in Turkey this year. Furthermore, Özyeğin University was also named Turkey’s top performing university in Personal Development and Career Support.

The results of the 2020 Turkey’s University Satisfaction Survey (TÜMA) were announced. According to the survey conducted by the University Assessments and Research Laboratory (ÜniAr), Özyeğin University has once again been rated “A+”, which represents the highest level of satisfaction,  in “Overall Satisfaction” among all universities in Turkey, as a testimony to its excellence in meeting student expectations.  This year, 39,386 students from 192 universities, including 125 state universities and 67 foundation universities, took part in the survey.  Claiming its first place in “Overall Satisfaction” in the TÜMA survey for three years in a row in 2017, 2018, and 2019, respectively, Özyeğin University was placed second best university in Overall Satisfaction in  in Turkey according to this year’s survey.

The survey is conducted by Prof. Dr. Engin Karadağ and Prof. Dr. Cemil Yüce, the founders of the University Assessments and Research Laboratory (UniAr), without any financial support from any third person or organization in order to evaluate and assess university student experience and satisfaction. The survey examines student satisfaction across six domains: “Satisfaction with Learning Experience”, “Satisfaction with Campus Life”, “Academic Support and Interest”, “Satisfaction with Organizational Management and Administration”, “Richness of Learning Amenities and Resources”, and  “Personal Development and Career Support”. 

Universities are rated A+, A, B, C, D, and FF in the ranking. Universities with the highest satisfaction rate are listed “A+”, while the universities with the lowest satisfaction rate are rated “FF”. Özyeğin University was honored with the “A+” ranking, which represents the highest level of satisfaction in all categories of satisfaction in the survey. Ozu was named among the top 5 A+ universities in each of the 5 dimensions of student satisfaction among 192 universities. According to the report, Özyeğin University was also named Turkey’s top performing university in Personal Development and Career Support.

Among the 192 universities that took part in the survey, 11 universities, including 4 state and 7 foundation universities, were rated “A+” in “Overall Satisfaction”.
