Assistant Professor Aslı Zuluğ Honored with IWEC Foundation’s “Woman Entrepreneur of the Year” Award
The 13th IWEC Foundation Conference and Awards Gala organized by the International Women's Entrepreneurial Challenge Foundation (IWEC Foundation) has been concluded. Assistant Professor Aslı Zuluğ from Özyeğin University, who was nominated by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce to represent Turkey, has been honored with the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year award in recognition of her healthy diet venture “PACHA: Natural Collagen and Protein Chips”.
IWEC was created by the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona, Spain, in partnership with the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce with support by the U.S. State Department. During the 2020 iteration of its annual awards gala, IWEC brought together some of the world’s most successful women entrepreneurs pursuing or aspiring to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams on international markets. Annually celebrating successful women entrepreneurs, IWEC evaluated women entrepreneurs from all corners of the globe, from Australia to South Africa, during its 13th IWEC Foundation Conference, and announced the winners during an online awards ceremony. Assistant Professor Aslı Zuluğ from Özyeğin University who was nominated by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce to represent Turkey has been honored with the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year award in recognition of her healthy diet and functional food venture. Prof. Dr. Aytül Erçil, another distinguished business woman who was nominated to represent Turkey, was also named among the winners.
