THE Emerging Economies 2021 Rankings named Özyeğin University one of the top five foundation universities in Turkey
Özyeğin University is also the youngest Turkish university in the 2021 rankings, and is placed third among all Turkish universities in the terms of research influence as measured by citations.
Times Higher Education (THE), a leading ranking institution which assesses the performance of universities across the world, has recently announced the results of its Emerging Economies University Rankings 2021. Özyeğin University is one of the 11 Turkish universities ranked in the top 250 and is named one of the top five foundation universities in Turkey. Furthermore, Özyeğin University made this year’s ranking as the youngest Turkish University, and is placed third among all Turkish universities in terms of its research influences as measured by citations.
This year, Times Higher Education Emerging Economies University Rankings admitted 606 universities from 48 territories. The THE Emerging Economies University Rankings 202 included only institutions in countries classified by the London Stock Exchange’s FTSE Group as “Advanced Emerging”, “Secondary Emerging” or “Frontier”.
THE evaluated the performance of the universities in these countries across five main areas: Teaching; Research; Citations; International Outlook; and Industry Income.
