Our University Ranks First Among Foundation Universities in THE Impact 2022 - Universities with Highest Social Impact Rankings

The results of the Times Higher Education’s “THE Impact Ranking” 2022 have been announced. The ranking assesses universities based on their social contributions towards the United Nations’ ‘Sustainable Development Goals. According to this year’s rankings, Özyeğin University has been named the best foundation university with the highest score in Turkey.  Meanwhile, Özyeğin University also ranked 8th among 58 Turkish universities, both public and private, included in the overall ranking, and was listed in the 301-400 band among 1,406 universities from all around the world in the overall ranking.

Furthermore, Özyeğin University was also named among the top 200 universities in four areas of the Sustainable Development Goals. These four areas in which Özyeğin University was ranked among the top 200 universities in the world are: “SDG 7 - Affordable and Clean Energy”, “SDG 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth”, “SDG 11 - Sustainable Cities and Communities”, and “SDG 16 - Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions”. Özyeğin University also emerged as one of the best universities in Turkey in SDG 11 and SDG 16.
