Assoc. Prof. H. Fatih Uğurdağ has been appointed as the Chair of IEEE Computer Society Turkey. IEEE Computer Society is the largest non-profit computer science and engineering organization in the world in terms of the number of members. Dr. Uğurdağ has been elected with 100% of the votes last Fall. During his term, he aims to focus on bringing distinguished lecturers from abroad, inclusion of computer/software engineering student clubs within IEEE Computer Society, and adoption of in depth programming education in Turkey into grade school curricula. Dr. Uğurdağ is also the Student Activities Coordinator of IEEE Turkey as well as the academic adviser of IEEE ÖzÜ.
