Özyeğin University and Pegasus Airlines Collaborate for Professional Flight Program Students

Within the scope of a new collaboration between Özyeğin University and Pegasus Airline, Professional Flight Program students of the Faculty of Aviation and Aeronautical Science at Özyeğin University will be included in a selection process while they are still students, and qualifying students will be admitted to a TYPE RATING training course following their graduation in order to be trained as first officers at Pegasus Airlines.  Özyeğin University and Pegasus Airlines joined forces with a new collaborative protocol. The new protocol signed between the Faculty of Aviation and Aeronautical Science at Özyeğin University and Pegasus Airlines will serve as an example for university-sector collaboration while bringing a new dimension to the collaborative agreement the parties had signed in 2014.

As per the collaboration, Professional Flight Program students of the Faculty of Aviation and Aeronautical Science at Özyeğin University will be included in a selection process while they are still students. Qualifying students will be admitted to a TYPE RATING training following their graduation in order to be trained as first officers at Pegasus Airlines.   The flight training fee, and TYPE RATING training fee that Professional Flight Program students need to pay to the flight school within the framework of the Pegasus Trainee First Officer Program, as well as the education support to be awarded to Professional Flight Program students during their undergraduate studies at Özyeğin University will be covered by Pegasus Airlines. Students will refund Pegasus Airlines starting from the first month of their employment as a First Officer.
