Lecturer Selçuk Bilgin honoured by EAQUALS with 2019 Teacher Award Scheme

Selçuk Bilgin has been awarded with Teacher Award Scheme 2019 by EAQUALS (Evaluation and Accreditation of Quality Language Services), upon his practice at ScOLa which aimed at student creativity and participation through online tools.  

This award, which aims at excellence and sustainability in the field of language education, is based on the following criteria;

• inspiring students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn
• having a positive impact on students and colleagues
• creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment
• incorporating innovative and effective lesson strategies and evaluation techniques

Founded in 1991 as the European Association for Quality Language Services, EAQUALS brings together language teaching centres from over 30 countries and leading national and international organisations which actively support language education. It also conducts research and studies in areas such as curriculum development, teacher training, measurement and evaluation, and school management.
