Dr. Ayca Ucar graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Law in 2001. She obtained her LLM in Maritime Law from Southampton University (England) in 2010, and Ph.D. in Maritime Law from Exeter University (England) in 2018. She has more than 10 years of working experience in multi-national Shipping and Insurance companies in Turkey and the UK as legal consultant. Her main research interests include; Maritime Law, Insurance Law, International Trade Law and International Transport Law. She gives Maritime Law, Insurance Law lectures in Turkish, International Trade Law and International Transport Law lectures in English at faculty of law.
