Dr. Ayşe Bike Baykara graduated from Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture in 2012. She received her Masters Degree from the Institute of Social Sciences, History of Architecture Program at the same university in 2012. Later, she completed her second Masters Degree in Architectural Studies in the History and Theory Program of the Department of Architecture at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. She received her Ph.D. from the Architectural History Program of the Middle East Technical University Institute of Social Sciences in 2024. She worked as a Research Assistant at Koç University between 2012-2013 and at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign between 2013-2016. Her research focuses on Architectural History and Theory, Roman Architecture, Roman Entertainment Buildings, Architectural Historiography, Digital Humanities, and Gender and Queer Theory.
