Social and cognitive development in early childhood, theory of mind, executive functioning
Cansu Gokbalkan graduated from Özyeğin University, Department of Psychology in 2017. During her undergraduate years, she did internships at Iz Cocuk Kindergarten, Gunısıgı Child Center and Maltepe University Medical Faculty Hospital. Besides, she has volunteered for The Hope Foundation for Children with Cancer for 7 months. She took part as research assistant in a project that examines the factors influencing mother-child attachment relationship and in another project that examines the social and cognitive development of preschoolers. Currently, she is a graduate student at Özyeğin University Applied Developmental Psychology program with thesis. She is interested in social and cognitive development in early childhood, theory of mind and executive functioning.
