Duygun Ruben obtained his B.A. degree from Marmara University, Department of Political Science and International Relations in 2015 and his M.A. degree from Boğaziçi University, Atatürk Institute for Modern Turkish History with the thesis titled “Neoliberalization of Social Housing in Turkey: The Case of Kayaşehir” in 2019. He is currently a Ph.D. student in the same institute. He worked as a researcher in Boğaziçi University Social Policy Forum from 2016 to 2019. He contributed as a co-author in several country reports of the European Commission project ETHOS: Towards a European Theory of Justice and Fairness, conducted by Boğaziçi University Social Policy Forum in Turkey.
