After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Translation and Interpreting at Boğaziçi University, and her Certificate of Teaching English from Marmara University, Dr. Kılıç-Bebek started to teach English at the School of Foreign Languages in Yıldız Technical University (YTU). She received her Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction from YTU, and her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Urban Education from Cleveland State University (CSU) specializing in Learning and Development. Her master’s thesis, as well as doctoral dissertation, were about university students’ academic achievement, and she worked as a research assistant in CSU's student support efforts. In 2010, she taught master’s level courses on the education of the talented and gifted at CSU. Between 2012-2015, she worked as a researcher for the Education Reform Initiative in Turkey. She started to work as a Project Manager at Ozyegin University in 2015. Between 2016-2020 she worked as the Manager of the Learning Office, and now continues her academic studies working as an Instructor at the Sectoral Education Program, instructing the “Skills Management” and “Learning to Learn” courses.
