Dr. Pınar Sezginalp achieved her B.A. from Bilkent University, department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design in 2008, M. Des. from İzmir University of Economics from Design Studies. She pursued her doctoral research within the exchange program in Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 2013, and obtained her Ph.D. from Middle East Technical University from Architectural History department in 2017. University and MEF University in 2015 and 2016, taught History of Architecture and Interior Design, History of Art and Design, Basic Design Studio and Visual Communication Studio for Interior Architecture students. Her research interests are transformation of the residential interior space in Turkey in the 20 th century; transformation of domestic life in Turkey in the 20 th century; modern architectural history of Turkey; contexts of gender and architecture in shaping the residential interior space in the 20 th century.
