Law of Contracts, Banking Law, Law of General Terms and Conditions, Law of Immovable Property and Urban Transformation Law
Dr. Tuğçe Tuzcuoğlu attended TED Zonguldak College and Zonguldak Atatürk Anatolian High School respectively and started studying at Yeditepe University, Faculty of Law in 2003 with full scholarship.
She enrolled in a seminar program in US Law at American University Washington College of Law in Washington D.C. in 2006. She did summer and attorney at law internships at ÇAĞA & ÇAĞA Law Firm in Istanbul in 2007 and 2009. Upon graduation from the Law Faculty of Yeditepe with honors in 2008, Dr. Tuzcuoğlu directly started her integrated Ph.D study in private law at Yeditepe University, Institute of Social Sciences in the same year with full scholarship.
From 2008 to 2010, she worked as a research assistant at Yeditepe University Faculty of Law in the Department of Civil Law. Subsequently, she started working as a research assistant at Yaşar University Faculty of Law in the Department of Civil Law in 2010 in İzmir.
In 2013, she was admitted to the TÜBİTAK 2214/A Abroad Ph.D Research Program and conducted academic research in Germany at Heidelberg University Institute for Foreign and International Private and Economic Law under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Thomas Pfeiffer.
Upon unanimous acceptance of her Ph.D dissertation supervised by Prof. Dr. Abdülkadir Arpacı, she was awarded with Ph.D degree and graduated with honors from Yeditepe University Institute of Social Sciences in 2017.
She lectured undergraduate courses Law of Obligations – Special Provisions and Virtual Courtroom as well as graduate course Law of General Terms and Conditions at Yaşar University Faculty of Law.
Apart from leading a project in the scope of TÜBİTAK TEYDEB 1512 Grant Program (BİGG) which she was qualified for in 2016, Dr. Tuzcuoğlu attended numerous national and international academic conferences and took part in the organization committees of several national symposia.
Her main research field of interests are Law of Contracts, Banking Law, Law of General Terms and Conditions, Law of Immovable Property and Urban Transformation Law.
