Zeynep Reva graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1996. After completing his internship at Istanbul Bar Association, she received his Master's Degree in Economic Law from Istanbul Bilgi University and his Master's Degree in Forensic Medicine and Ethics from Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University. She received his PhD in Medical Law from Istanbul Medeniyet University. She works in the fields of human rights, violence against disadvantaged groups, especially women and children, forensic sciences, and victimology. Zeynep Reva, who develops projects with violence against disadvantaged groups, is a project coordinator and a project trainer, is one of the national consultants of the European Union/Council of Europe Horizontal Support Program for the Western Balkans and Turkey: Strengthening the Human Rights Protection of Migrants and Victims of Trafficking in Turkey (2019-2022) She is a national consultant in the fields of gender equality and communication for the Council of Europe's "Promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Turkey" Project (2021-2023). As the Coordinator of the ÖzÜ Violence and Law Laboratory, Dr. Reva has coordinated and contributed to numerous national and international projects. She served as Project Coordinator for the "Advice for My 18th Birthday: An Intergenerational Bridge Documentary Project," funded by the European Union's Civic Thought Programme; Assistant Project Coordinator and Trainer for the "Zero Tolerance for Forced Marriages Project," funded by the Embassy of Canada to Türkiye; Project Coordinator and Trainer for the "Support Project for Children at Risk," supported by Freedom House; and Trainer for the Capacity Building Project for Lawyers and Bar Associations on the Promotion, Protection and Monitoring of Children's Rights (ÇABA Project), implemented by the Union of Turkish Bar Associations with co-financing from the European Union and UNICEF and technical support from UNICEF. Among the projects she has coordinated or led are the "Children Can't Wait Project," which promotes children's rights education; the "Phoenix Project (Anka Kuşları)," aimed at raising awareness of violence against women; the "#StaySafe (#GüvendeKal) Project," designed to improve high school students' awareness of safe internet use and criminal law; and the "No Child Should Be a Bride Project," which seeks to combat child, early, and forced marriages. Dr. Reva is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board on Community Mental Health of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. She is also a member of the Management Committee of COST Action CA22128 – ImpleMéndez. In addition, she is a member of both the Women's Rights Centre and the Children's Rights Centre of the Istanbul Bar Association. Her scholarly work includes numerous articles published in national and international peer-reviewed journals and papers presented at national and international conferences. Her research primarily addresses children's rights, women's rights, the rights of older persons, forced marriages, child marriages, violence against women, violence, forensic sciences, medical law, and insurance law. She is also the author of two books: Forensic Insurance and Traditional and Complementary Medicine Law and Medical Malpractice. Dr. Zeynep Reva teaches courses on Human Rights Law, Violence and Human Rights Law, Children at Risk, Women’s Human Rights in Judicial Decisions, Project Cycle Management, and The Impact of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms on Private Law.
