The Department of Psychology at Ozyegin University (OzU) invites applications for an open rank Assistant/Associate/Full Professor position in areas of Clinical Psychology and Couple and Family Therapy.
The ideal candidate will have or hold genuine potential for an excellent record of publications in international peer-reviewed journals, and excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate students.
Ozyegin University is a private, non-profit research university located in scenic Istanbul, Turkey. Established in 2008, Ozyegin has quickly become nationally recognized as one of the leading universities in Turkey, dedicated to excellence in both research and teaching. The medium of instruction is in English. Our student selection process is stringent; almost all of our students receive at least some form of scholarship or financial aid.
Established in 2011, the Department of Psychology at Ozyegin is accredited, and consists of approximately 350 undergraduate students in the major, 25 graduate students, and 16 full-time tenure-track faculty members. The Department offers a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master of Science in Developmental Psychology, and a Master of Science in Couple and Family Therapy. All of our faculty members are highly engaged in research, and the majority of our Psychology faculty members have grant-funded support from either the Turkish Council on Science and Technology (TUBITAK), or from the EU Horizon 2020 program.
The normal teaching load consists of four courses per academic year (2/2). Salary will be internationally competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. The benefits package includes relocation provision, pension and private health insurance.
