Özyeğin University, School of Applied Sciences, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department invites applicants for full-time faculty member position as Associate or Assistant Professor in the area of;

  • Nutrition and Dietetics (Ph.D.) starting in Spring or Fall 2020.

Applicants must have a strong commitment to teach of undergraduate level, to conduct theoretical as well as applied research in nutrition and gastronomy and to develop and maintain active collaboration with the food and beverage industry. All applicants must demonstrate good research background and potential as well as strong interest and ability in undergraduate and graduate teaching.

Özyeğin University was officially founded as a private not-for-profit university on May 18, 2007 with the mission of contributing to social development by producing creative, original and applicable knowledge through its modern education system, its innovative structure integrated with life and its academic programs focused on serving the service sector. The School of Applied Sciences includes 3.650 m2 a state of the art “Center of Excellence” consisting of multiple kitchens, sample hotel rooms for training, a restaurant, a banquet room, a tasting laboratory and a lobby area. The Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department is considered as the highest ranked B.Sc. degree program in Turkey.
