2015-2016 Academic Year Fees

Tuition and fees are determined annually for each academic year. Annual tuition increases for an academic year following the admission cannot exceed the inflation rate of the previous year for registered students

Undergraduate Tuition

Students of the School of English Language Instruction pay the applicable tuition of their undergraduate programs.
Tuition covers the fall and spring semesters of an academic year and is paid in two equal payments at the beginning of each semester. The tuition fees for the summer session are not included in these amounts.
Students of the School of English Language Instruction pay the applicable tuition of their undergraduate programs.

Tuition per credit is one 1/60th of the annual tuition fee of the student’s current academic program.  For recipients of tuition waivers, the tuition per credit will be waived up to the rate of the tuition waiver the student has been awarded.

This fee must be paid in the first semester in which students start their undergraduate program.

(**)The flight training fee is not included in the annual tuition of the Professional Flight Program.  Students are required to pay their flight training fee separately to the University’s partner institution in 3 equal installments at the beginning of the 4th , 6th and 8th  semesters of their undergraduate programs. The flight training fee is determined annually by the flight school. Students are charged the flight training fee starting from the 4th semester in their undergraduate programs. Ayjet Anatolian Stars Flight School, the University’s partner institution, has set the flight training fee for the 2015-16 academic year as 43.200 EUR including VAT. In the case of scholarship recipients, the flight training fee is covered by the university at the rate of tuition waivers.

(*)The annual tuition is USD 9,500 for international students admitted to the MSc and PhD in Engineering, PhD in Business Administration, MSc in Architecture, and MSc and PhD in Design, Technology and Society programs.
 
The tuition fees will be waived at the rate of student's current scholarship. For instance, a student with a 75% of tuition waiver is required to pay only 25% of the total tuition cost.

Annual Tuition covers the fall and spring semesters of an academic year and is paid in two equal payments at the beginning of each semester. The tuition for the summer session is not included in these amounts.

The program fee is applicable to only newly admitted students. The program fee in the Master of Entrepreneurship, Financial Engineering, EMBA and MBA (Daytime) programs covers the 2015-16 Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. This fee is paid in 3 equal installments at the beginning of each semester. The program fee in the MBA (Evening) program covers the 2015-16 Fall, Spring and Summer semesters and the 2016-17 Fall semester. This fee is paid in 4 equal installments at the beginning of each semester.

The program fee in the LLM in Public Law and Private Law programs covers the 2015-16 Fall and Spring semesters. The tuition of the LLM Programs in Private Law and Public Law is paid for 3 academik years  starting from the 2015-2016 academic year. The tuition of the LLD Programs in Private Law and Public Law is paid for 5 academic years starting from the 2015-2016 academic year.

Students who fail to graduate from their programs by the end of the regular period of study for any reason are charged as follows in the case of course repetition.
 

  • Students who take a course for a second time are not charged.
  • Students who take a course for a third time are charged per credit.
  • The per-credit rate is calculated by dividing the current annual tuition of an academic program by the total number of credits which must be completed in order to graduate from the respective program.
  • The maximum number of courses which can be repeated on the basis of per-credit rating is two.
  • In the event that more than two courses are repeated in a semester, the current semester tuition is charged.

 

Tuition Discounts

FİBA/ÖzÜ Discounts

Özyeğin University offers tuition discounts to full-time employees of Özyeğin University and the FİBA Group as well as their children: 25% for FIBA Group and  OzU. Discounts are applicable as long as the employee works full-time at Özyeğin University and FIBA Group. Students must verify their employment status at the beginning of each semester by providing the necessary documentation issued by their employers.

Family Discount

 
Family Discount is applicable for each of the first degree relatives (two siblings, mother/father-child) who concurrently pursue their undergraduate studies at Özyeğin University.
Family Discount is applicable only for those born to the same parents or those legally adopted.  Recipients of tuition discounts offered to Özyeğin University and FİBA Group employees and their children cannot benefit from the family discount. Eligible applicants must prove their first degree relative status with a copy of their national ID card. Students admitted with 75%, 50%, 25% or no scholarship will receive 5% of discount for their payable semester tuition fees if they are also awarded with the family discount.  The discount will be effective as long as the family members pursue their undergraduate studies together.

Summer Session Tuition

Students who would like to take summer school ,should pay the fees which will decided by Board of Trustees every each year.

2015-16 academic year Summer Session Undergraduate and graduate Courses offered during the summer session are charged per credit. Tuition per credit is 1/60th of the annual tuition of the student’s degree program. Students who take courses during the summer session pay the applicable tuition calculated based on the total credits of the courses they register for. Scholarship recipients benefit from tuition waivers at the rate of their scholarships.courses offered during the summer session are charged per credit.

For graduate programs with program fees, students are charged the applicable fee for the summer session of their programs.

2015-16 academic year Summer Session The School of English Language Instruction students who attend the courses offered during the summer session are charged half of the applicable semester tuition based on their tuition waivers. Students who started the English Language Preparatory Program from the “Elementary” level and completed the “Upper Intermediate” level at the end of the Spring semester of their first academic year are not required to pay any tuition for “advanced” level courses they take during the summer session.

Technology Fee

A technology fee of 415 TL including VAT is charged for using the infrastructure and superstructure of innovative information technologies offered by our university. The technology fee is paid in two equal installments at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters.
