2017-2018 Academic Year Fees
Tuition and fees are revised annually for each academic year. For current students, future increases in the annual tuition for the subsequent academic years following the admission are determined based on the inflation rate.
UNDERGRADUATE TUITION & FEES
Annual tuition covers both the Fall and Spring semesters; and is paid in two installments in each semester before the semester starts. Summer sessions are not included in annual tuition. Students who plan to attend the summer school must pay a separate tuition. Summer tuition is determined annually by the Board of Trustees for each academic year. English Preparatory Program students are required to pay the current tuition of the undergraduate program in which they are registered.
Undergraduate students who need to complete at most 18 more credits in order to be eligible to graduate pay their tuition based on per-credit rating. Tuition per credit is 1/60th of the annual tuition of the student’s current academic program. For recipients of tuition waivers, the tuition per credit will be waived up to the rate of the tuition waiver the student has been awarded.

The flight training fee is paid to the University’s partner flight school “Ayjet Anatolian Stars” in 3 equal installments at the beginning of the 4th, 6th and 8th semesters in the undergraduate program. The flight training fee is determined annually by the Flight School. Students are charged the flight training fee starting from the 4th semester in their undergraduate programs. The Flight School has set the flight training fee for the 2017-2018 academic year as 54,000 EURO including VAT. The fee must be paid in Turkish Lira. For recipients of tuition waivers, the University covers the flight training fee up to the rate of the tuition waiver the student has been awarded.

For recipients of tuition waivers, tuition is waived up to the rate of the scholarship the student has been awarded. For instance, a student holding a 75% tuition waiver is required to pay only 25% of the applicable tuition.
Annual tuition covers the Fall and Spring semesters of an academic year and is paid in two installments each semester before semesters start. Summer sessions are not included in annual tuition.
The program fee is applicable to only newly admitted students. The program fee (except EMBA) covers the 2017-18 Fall, Spring semesters. The fee is paid in 2 equal installments at the beginning of each semester. The program fee in the EMBA program covers the 2017-18 Fall, Spring and Summer semesters as well as the 2018-19 Fall semester. The fee is paid in 4 equal installments at the beginning of each semester.
The program fee in the LLM programs in Public Law and Private Law covers the 2017-18 Fall and Spring semesters. The tuition of the LLM Programs in Private Law and Public Law is paid for 3 academic years starting from the 2017-2018 academic year. The tuition of the LLD Programs in Private Law and Public Law is paid for 5 academic years starting from the 2017-2018 academic year.
* Annual tuition is USD 9,500 for international students admitted to the MSc and PhD in Engineering, PhD in Business Administration, MSc in Architecture, and MSc and PhD in Design, Technology and Society programs..

FAMILY DISCOUNT
Family Discount is applicable to first-degree relatives who concurrently pursue their undergraduate studies at Özyeğin University (i.e. two siblings, parent-child). The discount is awarded to each of the relatives.
In the case of siblings, Family Discount is applicable only to those born to the same parents or those legally adopted.
Recipients of tuition discounts offered to Özyeğin University and FIBA Group employees and their children are not eligible for the family discount. Eligible applicants must prove their first-degree relative status with a copy of their national ID card.
Students admitted with 75%, 50%, 25% or no scholarship will receive an additional 5% discount off their payable semester tuition if they are awarded with the family discount. The discount will be effective as long as family members concurrently pursue their undergraduate studies, and will continue over the term of scholarship the University has set and announced based on the students’ year of admission.
SUMMER TUITION
Students who plan to attend the summer school must pay a separate tuition. Summer tuition is determined annually by the Board of Trustees for each academic year.
Summer tuition is paid per credit for each undergraduate and graduate course offered during the 2017-18 summer session. Tuition per credit is 1/60th of the annual tuition of the student’s current academic program. Summer tuition is calculated based on the total credits of the courses the student takes during the summer session. For recipients of tuition waivers, the tuition per credit will be waived up to the rate of the tuition waiver the student has been awarded. Summer tuition is paid per credit for each course offered during the Summer session.
In graduate programs with a pre-set program fee, students are required to pay the portion of the program fee set for the summer session.
English Preparatory Program students who plan to take courses during the 2017-2018 Summer Session are charged half of the applicable semester tuition based on their tuition waivers. However, the summer session tuition is waived for students who started the English Preparatory Program at the “A2” level and successfully completed the “B1” level by the end of the Spring semester in their first academic year. These students may attend “B2” level courses free of charge during the summer session. These students also retain their additional scholarship, including cash stipends, or housing, dining, transportation support, during the summer session.
TECHNOLOGY FEE
The 2017-2018 technology fee is 480 TL including VAT for students admitted in 2011, 2012 and 2013 and issued with a laptop by the University. The technology fee is paid in two installments at the beginning of Fall and Spring semesters.
Students who do not wish to use the laptops issued by the University may submit an application to the IT department in order to return their laptops before the last day for add-drop announced in the academic calendar. Students whose application is approved by the IT department are exempted from the technology fee. Exempted students do not need to make any payment for the technology fee.
