Summer Schools 2019: University of Göttingen, Germany

Dear Students,

We would like to announce three summer school opportunities from the University of Göttingen for the summer of 2019!

1) "Data Science"

The program aims at advanced Master- and beginning PhD students from any discipline who are interested in learning about the many facets of data science.

Duration: August 5th - August 16th
Deadline to apply: January 22, 2019

2) "Globalization and Diversity"

The program is divided into two modules. In the first module, students will be introduced to different perspectives on diversity in the context of globalization through six lectures, seminars and student led seminars. In the second module, students will use excursions to experience and discuss further diversity-related topics, approaching specifically Germany-related topics and perspectives dealing with aspects to diversity in the past and present.

Duration: July 8th - July 19th
Deadline to apply: January 22, 2019

3) "Speech Acts"

The program aims to bring excellent international students and doctoral students who are interested in the topic of speech acts from various perspectives to Göttingen in order to promote the exchange with the local participants and the invited lecturers.

Duration: July 8th - July 19th
Deadline to apply: January 28, 2019


All three summer school programs are taught in English by top-class professors and external experts. They are free of charge and a number of stipends are available.
