We Support Earth Hour!

Organized annually as a global initiative by WWF since 2007 to call attention to global environmental issues, in particular climate change, Earth Hour will be celebrated this year on Saturday evening, March 27, with the participation of millions of people from all around the world.

The event is observed with turning off lights for one hour, as a global testimony of our sensitivity to environmental issues. Just like in previous years, as a university that has internalized sustainability by all means, we will support this global movement by switching off the lights on our campus.

I invite all members of OzU who believe that environmental problems can be overcome only by harnessing the power of collective action to turn off the lights in their current locations on Saturday, March 27, from 20:30 through 21:30 to show their support for this global initiative.
