Gender equality is an important constituent of our sustainable management philosophy at OzU and we aim to improve it in every sphere of our University. We believe that achieving this goal is possible only through in-depth policies and concrete practices.
Motivated by this philosophy, our University has been conducting the Horizon 2020 PLOTINA (Promoting Gender Balance and Inclusion in Research, Innovation and Training) Project since February 2016. As part of the Project, OzU carried out a Gender Equality Audit which covered a wide range of issues from gender balance in our academic and administrative units and human resources policies to work-personal life integration, curricula, and research projects. Based on this study, a Gender Equality Plan (GEP) has been prepared.
OzU GEP aims to create a work environment that is sensitive to gender equality in all academic and administrative units, and to further increase the quality of all teaching-learning and research activities at our University. You may access the OzU GEP files on this page.
