M. Pinar Menguc published its sixth article in his column “Bilimle Birlikte” (With Science) in Yapı Journal’s August 2017 Issue

M. Pınar Mengüç, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Director of the Center for Energy, Environment, and Economy, published its sixth article “Blinds with Examples” (Örneklerle Panjur) in his column “With Science” (Bilimle Birlikte” ) in Yapı Journal’s August 2017 issue.

“I am sure the days of summer have also given you the opportunity to re-observe the blinds in Turkey and across Turkey. To further guide you to notice the blinds around you, I wanted to present to you this article, which is this time filled with images. These photos captured from all around the world are in fact just a few examples. But if you notice, what they all have in common is that all of them are used on the buildings to break the light in a way. I took all these photos, so in a sense, they are the trophies of my blinds hunting. Please also share your own trophies with us. I would be happy to see your photos and publish them in my column, especially if they are culturally and aesthetically striking.
