Our Master’s Student Furkan Cantürk Is The Winner of the “Algorithms Compete” Challenge

Furkan Cantürk, our student in the Master’s Program in Artificial Intelligence, placed first in the “Day-Ahead Market Optimization Challenge - Algorithms Compete” organized by Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST), the first energy-themed center of innovation in Turkey.

The “Algorithm Compete” challenge is intended to prompt the development of new algorithms capable of producing high-quality solutions within a short time for the existing matching problem in the Day-Ahead Market in Turkey.  Our student Furkan Cantürk, who won first prize in the annual Algorithms Compete challenge, which was held for the second time this year, received his award during an awards ceremony held on the EXIST campus.
