Our Faculty Member Dr. Göktürk Poyrazoğlu Appears as a Guest on Bloomberg TV’s Elektrik 4.0

Dr. Poyrazoğlu, Electrical-Electronics Engineering Department Head at Özyeğin University, appeared as the guest of Ms. Gözde Kuyumcu on Elektrik 4.0 program aired on Bloomberg HT TV on Friday, December 2 under the sponsorship of Schneider Electric.

During the program that explored electric 4.0 technologies, Dr. Göktürk Poyrazoğlu highlighted the fact that electric 4.0 means “to measure”, “to collect data at a single point”, and “to analyze.” Addressing the reasons why electric consumption has been increasing across the globe and alternative solutions for it, the program also drew attention to the investments Türkiye has made in renewable resources. Dr. Poyrazoğlu gave information about Türkiye’s goals within the scope of the fight against climate change, and shared his views on Türkiye’s solar and wind power capacity. Poyrazoğlu also talked about the ongoing energy crisis across the world, and potential solutions, while underscoring the importance of green electrification in green transformation processes.
