Game Developed by Özyeğin University’s Team Honored with an Award at Game Jam

The team made up of Özyeğin University students came in second at Game Jam organized in cooperation with The Sandbox within the scope of the Young Guru Academy’s (YGA) summit this year. The game was developed by Çağatay Duru (Electrical-Electronics Engineering Department), Can Çağatay Sevgican (Computer Science Department), Yunus Emre Aslan (Industrial Engineering Department), and Onur Özdemir (Computer Science Department), the co-founders of the Game Development Club at Özyeğin University, using the Game Maker and VoxEdit programs provided by Sandbox. Games developed under the theme of “Protect and Save Forests” were admitted to Game Jam based on a special jury evaluation. The Özyeğin University team placed second and won 2,500 SAND Coin (25,000 TL) at Game Jam.
