Özyeğin University Welcomes “The Third Door” Author Alex Banayan

On January 4, Özyeğin University hosted a talk with Alex Banayan, the author of The Third Door, a book recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of the best career books in recent years and ranked among the international best sellers.

Banayan spent seven years researching how some of the world’s most successful individuals, including Bill Gates, Lady Gaga, Larry King, Maya Angelou, Steve Wozniak, Jane Goodall, Jessica Alba, and Quincy Jones, embarked on their career journeys. Recounting the author's seven-year odyssey tracing the footsteps of global trailblazers, the book has also recently been brought to Turkish readers by Boyner Publishing House.

Prior to the event held at Özyeğin University in collaboration with Boyner Publishing House, author Banayan visited the OzU-X Innovation Center, where he gained insights into the center's ongoing initiatives. Following the opening remarks by Dr. İsmail Arı, Director of Knowledge, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship (KTTE) at Özyeğin University, author Banayan delivered a speech on entrepreneurship, resilience, and the power of self-belief. The talk was ensued with a Q&A session moderated by Dr. Ahmet Murat Fiş from the Department of Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Business, where Banayan answered the questions of OzU members in attendance.
