Computer Science Master’s Program Alumnus Hüseyin Yapıcı Elected Chair of IEEE Young Professionals Türkiye

Hüseyin Yapıcı, a graduate of the Thesis Master’s Program in Computer Science at Özyeğin University, has been named Chair of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Young Professionals Türkiye. The IEEE is a 140-year-old non-profit international association dedicated to advancing innovation and technological excellence. It is the world’s largest technical professional society, with over 460,000 IEEE members in 190 countries. Yapıcı will be Chair of Young Professionals Türkiye within IEEE for the 2024-2025 term.

The IEEE Young Professionals Türkiye program provides a platform for young engineers and scientists, serving a diverse group ranging from recent graduates to early-career professionals. It is an international community dedicated to helping young professionals enhance their technical knowledge and skills, advance their careers, and expand their professional networks. Furthermore, IEEE Young Professionals Türkiye aims to contribute to society through science.
