Trial Access: Proquest News&Newspaper Archives and TDM Studio

Trial access to the following databases is available until April 16, 2026.

1) Proquest TDM Studio
ProQuest TDM Studio is a cloud-based tool for performing text and data mining on content that the Library licenses from ProQuest. This includes current and historical newspapers, news wires, trade journals and magazines, and theses and dissertations. To access it, please register with your Özyeğin e-mail address.

2) Global Newsstream Collection
Global Newsstream Collection, provides global news content–with archives that stretch back into the 1980s–from over 2,500 news sources, including newspapers, newswires, news journals, television and radio transcripts, blogs, podcasts, and digital-only websites in full-text format. It includes collections of news from the U.S., Canada, Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Australia, incorporating the Canadian Newsstream Collection, Global Breaking Newswires, International Newsstream Collection, and the U.S. Newsstream Collection.

3) ProQuest Historical Newspapers: Global
ProQuest Historical Newspapers: Global, brings together multiple historical newspaper collections from the United States and around the world and provides broad coverage. It offers access to the archives of newspapers such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, Le Monde, and The Times of India.

4) ProQuest Historical Newspapers: International Collection
ProQuest Historical Newspapers: International Collection, covers the archives of selected international newspapers outside the United States. It provides access to content on politics, society, and current events through newspapers from different countries. These include The Guardian, Le Monde, ABC, The Australian, South China Morning Post, and The Times of India.

5) ProQuest Historical Newspapers: U.S. Major Dailies
ProQuest Historical Newspapers: U.S. Major Dailies, includes the archives of major national and metropolitan newspapers published in the United States. The newspapers are presented in full-page format from their first issues and provide access to all content, including news, advertisements, images, and supplements. प्रमुख titles in the collection include The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and Chicago Tribune.
