COP 31 – Call for University Participation, Projects & Side Events

 Dear Faculty Members, 

We would like to share an important announcement regarding the opportunity to represent Özyeğin University at COP 31, the 31st session of the UN Climate Change Conference, which will be hosted by Türkiye in Antalya from November 9–20, 2026.

YÖK (Council of Higher Education) requires each university to submit a single consolidated form covering all planned participation, projects, and events by August 14, 2026, through the official platform at https://academy.cop31.center/. Özyeğin University will submit a single application on behalf of all contributing units and faculty members.

What can be submitted?

•       Research contributions within the framework of COP31 themes,
•       Collaborative projects carried out with national or international partners, Side Event proposals at the Türkiye Pavilion (60–90 minutes, Panel, Workshop, Project launch, Report presentation, Networking)

Application Deadline: August 14, 2026

Researchers planning any events, projects, or side events within the scope of COP31 are expected to fill out the Ozyegin University COP31 Academic Contribution and Project Proposal Form as soon as possible. The required information format for the application will be shared with interested researchers, and the submissions received will be included in the consolidated application to be made on behalf of Özyeğin University.
