New TÜBİTAK 1003 Project from ÖzÜ: "Topographic Prediction Based Energy Management for Electric Vehi

Electric vehicles has now been part of our lives instead of just being a subject of research or a hobby. We need to increase the distance that can traveled by a fully charged battery in order to boost the use of electric vehicles, which requires that the embedded computer controlling the vehicle runs intelligent energy management algorithms. Within the scope of this project, a team under the guidance of Özyeğin University faculty member Assoc. Prof. H. Fatih Uğurdağ, Hexagon Studio team leader and at the same time Özyeğin University doctoral student M. Ali Gözüküçük, and Arbon executive Prof. Hakan Temeltaş will develop, implement, and test predictive energy control algorithms based on GPS and topographic map data.
