Our Students’ International Achievement in EEEExtreme Programming Challenge

Our “OzUXTeam” claimed the second place after Bilkent University among Turkish teams during the IEEExtreme Programming Challenge organized annually by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). OzUxTeam also ranked 72nd  in Region 8, which includes Europe, and placed 176th among over 4,000 teams in the global rankings.

This year marked the 12th edition of IEEExtreme. Over 10,000 students competed in teams over a 24-hour time span to solve a set of programming problems.   Özyeğin University joined the competition with four teams made up of our Computer Science and Electrical-Electronics Engineering students. All of our teams succeeded in ranking among the top 73 teams from Turkey. We would like to congratulate Emir Arditi, Arjen Kılıç, and M. Mert Özgün from our OzUxTeam, Cihan Eran, Berk Buzcu, and Doğa Yılmaz from our OzUY team, Taha Darendeli, Gürol Sağlam, and C. Emre Dedeağaç from our OzUXtreme team, and Buğra Önal, Seçkin İpek, and Doğaç Toklu from our OzU333 team.
