PLACEMENT & TRACE EXAM FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Dear All,

This is a reminder for International Students !!!!! 

Please be informed that you need to appear on the 19 th of September  8.30 o’clock at the LAW Building for PLACEMENT & TRACE EXAM where will be placed at ( room: numbers LAW Building 133-134-135-136-235 ) 

If you have taken and succeeded in the English tests mentioned below, you do not need to take PLACEMENT & TRACE EXAM.

TOEFL-IBT: At least 80, with at least 20 in each section,

TOEFL-PBT: At least 550, with at least 4 in Writing,

FCE: At least B, CAE: At least C, CPE: At least C, KPDS / ÜDS: At least 86,

PEARSON PTE Academic: At least 62, with at least 59 in each section.

Validity periods of examinations: TOEFL-IBT :2 years; FCE / CAE / CPE / KPDS / ÜDS : 3 years, PEARSON PTE: 3 years. IELTS is not accepted.

Also note that, if you miss to attend PLACEMENT & TRACE Exams on the 19th of September, you will take it on the 2nd of October.

We recommend you to attend PLACEMENT & TRACE EXAM on the 19th of September if you are registered or not and if you are in Istanbul already that day. 

If you did not provide us any English Proficiency Exam result mentioned above, and you do not take the PLACEMENT & TRACE you will be automatically placed into a beginner level of English Preparatory Class.

You can only sit one PLACEMENT & TRACE EXAM.

Please make sure to provide yourself a pencil and an eraser.
