Residence Life Program

The Residence Life Committee (YYK) carries out initiatives to support the adaptation of students residing in Özyeğin University dormitories to campus life, strengthen their sense of belonging, and make residence life more active and enjoyable. The committee places importance on increasing social interaction among students, encouraging the shared experience of diverse cultures, and fostering a culture of community and sharing within the residence environment.

Consisting of volunteer students, the YYK organizes a variety of social, cultural, and recreational activities throughout the year, starting from the welcoming process when students first arrive at the residences. Through these activities, the committee aims to contribute to transforming residences into vibrant living spaces not merely accommodation facilities where students socialize, spend time together, and become an integral part of campus life.

Some of the traditional events organized by the committee include the Residence Welcome Event – Pajama Party, Halloween, Welcome to Winter Party, End Game, and the 80s–90s Party.
