Dr. Baydur obtained his B.A. degree from Bilkent University, Department of Economics in 2005, M.A. in Economics from Koç University in 2008, and Ph.D. in Economics from University of Virginia in 2014. After completing his Ph.D., Dr. Baydur worked at the School of Business at ADA University and the School of Economics at Singapore Management University, where he taught various courses in macroeconomics. Since 2026, Dr. Baydur has been working as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Özyeğin University. His areas of specialty are macroeconomics and labor economics. His research focuses on labor market frictions and business cycles.
