Mehmet Ateş began his photography career at Marmara University’s Faculty of Communication in 1997 and has worked professionally since 1998, gaining experience in magazine, editorial, and advertising photography.

He was introduced to food photography during his editorial career at Sabah Magazine Group in 2003. In 2008, he further specialized in the field through his work with La Cucina Italiana and Food and Travel magazines, published by Ciner Magazine Group.

In 2014, Mehmet Ateş founded Studio Cucina, providing professional food photography services. He continues his work at his studio in Istanbul, producing visual content for brands and publications in the fields of food, dessert, beverage, and product photography.

Since 2011, he has also shared his knowledge and experience with photography enthusiasts through his Food Photography Workshops.
