Dr. Fiş has been a faculty member at Özyeğin University since September 2009, where he was instrumental in establishing both the Entrepreneurship Department and the Master in Entrepreneurship Program. Currently, he serves as the Chair of the Entrepreneurship Department and holds the position of Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship. His interdisciplinary research primarily focuses on entrepreneurship, with special emphasis on corporate entrepreneurship and women's entrepreneurship. He has presented his findings at numerous national and international conferences and was honored with the “Best Paper for Scholarship and Academic Rigor” award at the 9th International Entrepreneurship Forum. Additionally, Dr. Fiş has contributed to the academic community through book chapters and articles published in peer-reviewed journals. His teaching interests align closely with his research, and he has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses. From 1999 to 2023, Dr. Fiş has also played a significant role as Assessor, Chief Assessor, and a member of the Steering Committee for the Turkish National Quality Award. Besides mentoring entrepreneurs, he provides occasional executive education in areas such as entrepreneurship, corporate entrepreneurship, and innovation. Dr. Fiş is married and has two children.
