Commencement: Cap, Gown and Invitation Distribution

Dear Graduating Seniors / Alumni,

The Student Life Office would like to give you some important information about cap and gown distribution and commencement invitations.

Cap and Gown Distribution
Candidates who wish to participate in the Graduation Ceremony must make a deposit by 14:00 on Friday, June 16, 2017 to the below specified bank account.

Amount: 70,00 TL
Explanation: Student Name and ID Number
 
To receive your cap and gown, you must submit the receipt (dekont) from your deposit.
 
Cap and gown distribution will take place between 10:00-16:00 (business days) on June 12-16, 2017 and on the day of rehearsal between 08:00-16:00.  There will be no cap and gown distribution on the day of the graduation ceremony. 
 
Distribution Area: Student Center, 1. Floor, Cap-Gown Room
 
When the ceremony is finished, you may return your gown to the forum area.  In the days following the ceremony, until June 30, 2017, you may return your gown during business hours to the Student Center, 1. Floor, Cap and Gown room.  
 
If you fill out the reimbursement form fully, your 70,00 TL deposit will be deposited to your account within 15 business days.  
 
The fees collected from gowns that are not returned by June 30 will be donated in students’ names to an OzU Scholarship fund.  
  
INVITATIONS :
A maximum of 4 invitations will be distributed to each student during cap and gown distribution. Guests without invitations will not be admitted to the ceremony area.
