Gizem Öztok Saraç Named New Chief Economist at TUSIAD

Gizem Öztok Saraç, instructor at Özyeğin University, has been named new chief economist at the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD). Gizem will start her new position on December 1, 2020. We wish her success as Özyeğin University.

Who is Gizem Öztok Altınsaç?

Gizem obtained her bachelor’s degree in Economics (English) from Marmara University in 2001.  The same year, she started her master’s degree in Economics at Bilkent University where she also served as an assistant.She received her bachelor’s degree in Economics (English) from Marmara University.  In 2004, she took up the Economist position at Garanti Investment. She served as chief economist at the Garanti Investment from 2012 to 2016. Later, Gizem founded her own consulting company “GOA”, where she offered consulting services to organizations. Since 2011, she has also been working as a commentator at Bloomberg HT and teaching at Özyeğin University.
