Our Graduate Meltem Yücel Receives the Most Outstanding Graduate Research Paper Award

Meltem Yüce, who graduated from the Department of Psychology at Özyeğin University in 2015 and started her Ph.D. at the University of Virginia, has recorded a significant achievement, making our university and our country proud.

Pursuing her doctoral studies with a concentration on the “moral development of children”, Yücel has been honored with the 2020 Association for Psychological Science/Psi Chi’s international Albert Bandura Graduate Research Award for the most outstanding graduate research paper in recognition of her research published in the journal Frontiers in Psychology in which she investigates the role of emotions in children’s morality.
