Abstract:

Wi-Fi signal interference-based radar structures and high spatial efficiency modulator designs utilizing the quantum properties of light with multi-plane-diffraction (MPD) design have been recently introduced. MPD based experimental studies are performed in a full anechoic chamber for wireless RF active cellular channels, motivated by the advantages of the MPD systems. RF experiments are performed by using smartphone antenna sources and consecutive planar slits for MPD of RF waves. The active antenna measurement technique is used as the measurement method and effective isotropic radiated power values are obtained in a full anechoic chamber in 900 MHz frequency band. Free space propagation, single-plane and MPD architectures are compared by analyzing experimental interference patterns for varying diffraction geometries. The results obtained in this study form the basis for next-generation sensor designs utilizing direct cellular signal interference and RF modulators exploiting the high spatial efficiency of MPD.

Bio:

Ali received his BSc degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Dokuz Eylul University in 2015. He is also studying for his MSc degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Ozyegin University. He started his professional career as Design Verification & Test Engineer in Vestel where he took part in R&D Design validation performance test department. At this department, he performed OTA active and passive measurement of smartphones, tablets and TV devices at RF Test laboratory by using RF test equipment with different frequencies. Besides on this, he got specialized in test management, wireless communication technologies, international RF test standards like CTIA & 3GPP standards. Later, he continued his career as Senior Design Verification & Test Engineer. Now, he continues to his career as Experienced Wireless System Engineer in Airties. He performs and manages FCC / CE test procedures of Airties mesh products besides on internal radiated & conducted performance testing.
