About Özyeğin University Gender Equality Plan

Gender equality is an important constituent of our sustainable management philosophy at Özyeğin University, and the University aims to promote it in every sphere. In line with this philosophy, Özyeğin University undertook the Horizon 2020 PLOTINA (Promoting Gender Balance and Inclusion in Research, Innovation and Training) Project from 2016 to 2020. Within the scope of this project, the University performed a self-assessment on gender equality, which culminated into Özyeğin University’s own Gender Equality Plan (GEP), covering a broad array of issues from gender balance in our academic and administrative departments to human resources policies, the integration of work life and personal life to curricula and research projects.

OzU GEP aims to create a gender-sensitive work environment in all academic and administrative departments, and further increase the quality of all teaching-learning and research activities at our University. You may access the OzU GEP files in the following links.
